.....the first is a mint condition signed Boucher pin ~ Each of the gorgeous clustered pave crystals are individually hand set in prongs,no glue....the leaves and petals flow gracefully around the edges~ It is signed on the back and also numbered....it is just shy of 3" long and what caught my eye was its understated beauty...it is a stunning piece....
Marcel Boucher, began his career in France where he studied and worked with Cartier. He then created Marcel Boucher and Cie in New York City, NY. From 1937 to 1972 the company produced imaginative metalwork and rhinestone costume jewelry
Marcel's wife, Sandra, was also a jewelry designer and had previously designed for Tiffany. She took over the company after Marcel's death in 1965. In 1972, the company was sold to Dovorn Industries.
Also included are the (2) signed Coro Blackamoor pins ca. 1919....these were an absolute must have for me........they are a matched set of a woman and man....each designed with tiny seed pearls? and ruby colored stone accents,he has two ruby stone earrings and she has one seed pearl earring....she appears to have lost the other but still appears quite elegant....a few tiny stones are missng between the two( and easily replaced as told to me by a jewler friend) and a bit of turquoise has rubbed off....the wear is commensurate with its almost 100 year old age but in no way detracts from the elegance and beauty of each piece.....
they are each signed on the back and measure 1 and 1/4" each......they are extraordinarily well designed and not often found pieces......their condition is very good to excellent
