This is a rare manuscript music leaf from a religious hymnal printed in Brussels, circa 1669. The ancient hymn “Dominica in Paffione” is a two sided leaf, page 183 and 184. Typically, the four line stanzas are stenciled in red and the musical notes are in black.

Size and Condition

This music leaf is on hand laid paper and has only mild offset and discoloration. The approximate size is 7 ½” x 11 5/8”. For anyone interested in early music, this would be an invaluable addition to a music collection.
