Offered for your consideration...is this stunning antique Limoges porcelain plaque, with hand painted light and dark pink Roses floral decoration with lush greenery as well. The beautiful floral is placed on a background consisting of hues of mustard yellow. The blank has embossed border detail and graceful scalloped edges which are enhanced with gold trim. The renowned artist "Bay" has prominently signed the front of this stunning plaque, as shown in the photograph that we have provided.

The back bears two identifying marks (double marking is more desirable and ensures value), one...of the Flambeau China Company (L.D.B. & Co.), underglaze white ware mark in green, torch with "Limoges, France", ca 1890's to 1914. The second mark is the overglaze decorating mark in green with "Flambeau", ca 1890's-1900's. The back is factory drilled for hanging as well.

This beautiful hand painted plaque measures 11 inches in diameter and with the exception of some edge wear consistent with age...this wonderful antique treasure is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.
