Offered for your consideration...is this very pretty antique Limoges porcelain plate, hand painted with yellow "Wild Roses" decoration, complete with green leaves, stems and thorns. The floral is painted on a backdrop consisting of pale yellow and brown, with the artistry further enhanced by a gilded edge.

This lovely plate measures 8 3/8" in diameter and with the exception of slight gold edge wear, it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration.

The back bears the artist's initials and the identifying mark of the Jean Pouyat Porcelain Factory, (underglaze white ware mark in green with "FRANCE"), dating this piece to between 1890 and 1932.
