Offering wonderful examples of hand painted LIMOGES, MEISSEN, NIPPON, ROSENTHAL and R.S. PRUSSIA...just to name a few!
The back bears the identifying green underglaze white ware mark of the C. & E. Carstens Porcelain Factory (Weimar Porcelain), E. Germany, which dates this simply gorgeous piece to between 1918 and 1945.
This stunning celery dish measures 12" long and 5" wide, and with the exception of slight gold wear and a couple of ash specks near one handle (common on antique porcelain and occurs during the firing process as kilns were heated with wood at that time)...it is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration of any kind.
The pleasant decoration on this charming dish is truly beautiful, and the embossed German porcelain blank upon which it is done...is absolutely stunning! This is a very pretty piece of fine German porcelain to be enjoyed for a lifetime!
Thank you for your interest!
