The bottom of the dish bears the green underglaze mark "Limoges" over "FRANCE" with a star on either side of the mark, (usually used on Limoges boxes).
As referenced by the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain", 3rd Edition, by author Mary Frank Gaston...this piece is not antique but a collectible piece of Limoges porcelain. This is a contemporary mark used by the Castel Company from the 1980"s to the 1990's. This identifying green underglaze mark is shown on Page 437 and information regarding the mark is located on Page 434 of this book.
This dish measures 9" long, 5 1/2" wide and 4" high from table to rim...and is in mint condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines or restoration of any kind. I
