We offer for your consideration, this very collectible German Hummel figurine "For Mother" #257. This adorable earthenware, 5" figurine of a little girl holding a bouquet of flowers for Mother, was introduced in the U.S. in 1964 and carries a 1963 incised copyright date on the bottom, along with incised 257 identification number for this particular line.

The bottom bears the blue underglaze "Three Line Mark" of the W. Goebel Porzellanfabrik Factory, Germany. This was a trademark variation used between 1964 and 1972.

She is in excellent condition...with no chips, cracks, crazing, hairlines or restoration of any kind! There is a little dingling sound inside when turned upside down...not damage...as it occured during the manufacturing of this piece.

We have priced this adorable figurine well below the book value of $250, as stated and shown on Page 531 of Luckey's "Hummel Figurines & Plates Identification and Price Guide", 12th Edition, by author Carl F. Luckey. This piece is pictured in this book on Page 196.
