Antique Limoges Porcelain Tray ~ Hand Painted Pink "ROSES" Decoration

Offered for your consideration...is this gorgeous antique Limoges porcelain tray with hand painted pink Roses decoration. These full, well painted, soft pink Rose blossoms are placed on a backdrop of pale shaded greens with a dash of blue and butterscotch. This pleasant depiction of spring blooms are skillfully hand painted by a very talented artist, on a graceful, scalloped blank with generously gilded edges.

The back is unglazed and bears the identifying mark of the William Guerin Limoges Porcelain Factory...dating this wonderful piece to between 1900 and 1932.

The tray measures 10 1/2" long by 8 7/16" wide. It is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks, hairlines, or restoration of any kind. The gilded edge is in excellent condition as well. There are a few glaze pops, indicative of the manufacturing process of that time, which do not detract in any way from it's beauty or value!

This is a wonderful example of well painted antique Limoges porcelain and would be an exquisite addition to your fine hand painted porcelain collection! Enjoy for use when serving guests or as a dresser tray in your bedroom!
