The back bears the identifying Mark 5 (underglaze white ware mark in green with "FRANCE"), of the Jean Pouyat Porcelain Factory (J.P.), dating this lovely dish to between 1890 and 1932, as referenced by the "Collector's Encyclopedia of Limoges Porcelain", 3rd edition, by author Mary Frank Gaston, and as shown in the photographs.
The measurements of this charming dish are 12 1/4" long and 5 3/8" wide, and is in "excellent" condition...with no hairlines, chips, cracks, or restoration of any kind. The gilded edge is in very good condition as well, making this piece a wonderful addition to your personal collection! This lovely piece could serve to be very useful for entertaining family and friends!
