Look at the colors of this RARE majolica antique oyster plate produced by Wedgwood of England.

Circa 1800's

Five ribbed oyster wells depict seaweed on an ocean wave with the deep center sauce well all in relief.

The colors of mottled deep brown and emerald green with hints of yellow are very rare for this Wedgwood example.

Having five 'feet' which is typical of this Wedgwood form.

Excellent condition ~ 9" diam
