REDUCED Wyland Whale Tail Art Sculpture by Austin

This gorgeous sculpture was produced in 1999 by Austin Sculptures and sculpted and designed by Bob Wyland. Austin only chooses the best of artists to work with and design wonderful art! This piece is in the design of a whales tail. It is of course black with a patina'd bronzed base. I am honestly not sure what the material is made of. I believe it is a plaster or ceramic with a metal glaze and golden highlights. The sculpture stands 9 inches high to the tip of the tail and 10 inches across the widest points. The base is signed with an impressed Wyland 1999 and then on the other side is Austin Sculpture 1999. It has its original tag and label on the base! The base is felted and you can see a faint spot where there was once another sticker. This piece is in excellent condition! I can see a couple of tiny flea bites on the paint (not chips) that show a white underneath. Wyland is a very popular sea life artist and his newer sculptures are going for thousands of dollars!
