Looks like the dog wants to play but the cat wants nothing to do with it! This wonderful brooch is made of copper with the animals being set in brass. Together they make a great combination! Its kind of a blend of Art Nouveau and Arts and Crafts! The pin is in great condition with a bit of patina. I like the patina'd look so I left it alone but it will clean up nicely with a little polish. If you prefer, I can do that for you! It is quite large at 3 1/2 inches long and 2 1/4 wide. It has a "C" clasp in good working order. Circa 1910. This is a very unique piece and a great gift for the animal lover!
