This has got to be the most beautiful set I have ever seen! It was made by Henry Atkins of Sheffield England. Henry was a silversmith starting in 1833, back in the days of Old Sheffield fused plating and one of the first to use the new electroplating method in the 1840's. The hallmarks on these pieces are his unregistered old Sheffield Platers mark however these pieces have got to be electroplated if not sterling! The set consists of a fork and a slice. This is one set you wont want to pass up! This silver caddy is hallmarked on the base with 800 and what I believe to be the marks for Breidenstein and Renaud of Frankfurt Germany circa 1889- 1920.The set includes a mustard pot w/ glass lining, a salt cellar w/glass lining, a salt spoon which is marked 935, and a removable acorn shaped shaker. the shaker itself is not marked but is obviously part of the set. there is also another salt spoon that is not in the picture because the handle has broken ...
