Circa: 1890 Dimensions: 21" wide x 21" deep x 44" high This is an absolutely beautiful English Victorian Comb Back Windsor Chair. It is made of Oak and has a rich, Deep Oak Patina. It is in very good condition.

The high back of the Chair is splendidly made with fanned out Spindles flowing upward from Vase Shaped Horizontal Splat below to the Crest Rail.

The Crest Rail is splendid. It is quite deep and arches beautifully across the top. There is a Pressed Oval and Acanthus Leaf Cartouche at the center of the Crest Rail.

The Vase Shaped Horizontal Splat below is upholstered in a Floral Needlepoint Fabric. The Fabric is Beige with Pink, Green And Blue Flowers. Upholstery Nails embellish the upholstery.

The gorgeous Stiles flanking the Spindles are made in Baluster and Bobbin Turned Design.

The Seat is round and beautifully upholstered in the same needlepoint fabric. Decorative Upholstery Nails frame the perimeter of the Seat.

A unique, lovely feature of the Chair are the dramatically splayed Baluster Turned Legs. These are embellished with Bobbin Turning and have Ball Feet.

This is a very collectible, English Windsor Chair. It will be an elegant addition to your home.
