1930's - 40's Perfume Lamp from Europe

Looking to add a bit of color as well scent to a room? Both can be obtained beautifully with this vintage perfume lamp from Germany, done in a pagoda shape and sporting a Macaw Parrot on one side while a Cockatoo displays on the other. Fruited trees adorn the remaining sides (the suggestion of the Macaw, no doubt) while the well for the perfume is located above. The lamp stands upon four porcelain feet at the base and has cut-out areas on the sides (as well as around the birds) to emit light. Measures 7.5" tall and over 3.75" in diameter at the base. It has recently been rewired for American households so no worries there and is in great condition besides. It is turned off & on via a switch on the cord. Marked "Neutettau" on the bottom, which identifies it as the product of the "New Porcelain Factory Tettau" made between 1935 and 1948. An uncommon lamp, hand painted in hues that are sure to brighten (and sweeten) your day!
