If Deco delights and Parakeets entice, then this powder jar from 1920's-30's England is just for you! Quite detailed with both transfers and hand painted elements, this porcelain jar features a bevy o' butterflies on the side and a long tailed 'Keet above, purposely perched near the knob (and hoping to catch a finger no doubt!) Done in a reddish-orange hue (and soooo very vogue at the time) it's a jar that's meant to been seen in both hue and height, measuring 6.5" in diameter and 3 5/8" tall to the top of the knob. Aside from issues of age; paint wear along the top edge (covered with the lid) and some mysterious black dots on one side under the glaze (I'm guessing stray paint, see pics) the jar is in great shape with no chips, cracks or repairs. Marked "C.P. Co. Ltd. Burslem, England" under a crown and within a shield, and has "England" stamped into the porcelain as well. Recently flown in from the U.K. just for you and ready to grace your nightstand, vanity, dressing table or bath. Like Deco? Love this!
