Vintage Brass Lamp w/ Glass Shade & Crystals

An unusual yet highly decorative brass lamp featuring a glass floral shade and a removable metal ring in the middle that sports not only sparkling crystal prisms but a bird on each side (my guess is an Eagle or some sort of bird-of-prey, see pic). The stem of the lamp is also lovely with a stylized leaf pattern and the lamp is turned off & on via a pull chain on the back. It is also well made and heavy, weighing in at 10 pounds all by itself. The shade is in great condition, with just a touch of roughness around the top opening, which is covered by a metal cap. I see a small dent on the lamp just underneath the shade harp (the shade covers this area) and there is some tarnishing on the lamp (see pics). All the prisms are present and accounted for but some have been replaced over the years (the pieces of metal they dangle from are of different colors). The lamp is approx. 20" high with a "footprint" of 5" squared, making it perfect for bed, bath or end tables, and the shade is 10 1/8" in diameter at the bottom. As you can see from the pic it works and works well, emitting a lovely glow in a darkened room. Absolutely lovely and definitely girly with its floral shade and twinkling, swaying crystals. The kind of lamp you dream of but never see - until now..........
