Pre WWII Shaving Mug from Germany

Decorated with touches of blue lustre and a pair of quarreling birds on the front, this porcelain shaving mug from Europe may easily be the most colorful in your collection. It stands 3 6/8" tall with a diameter of 3.5" at the top and has a handle on the side that lets your thumb rest on it perfectly. The mug is in grand shape with just a little wear on the inside from the brush. Speaking of, included is the brush you see in the pic and although it's not original to the mug, it's well made (in the USA) and the handle is made of celluloid (or some type of older plastic) with natural bristles. The mug is simply marked "Germany 279" on the bottom and is a bit on the heavy side. Ready for a close shave? Better start by mugging it!
