Early 1900's Hutschenruther Parrot Figurine

A fabulous Parrot figurine flown in from Germany just for you, designed by Prof. Fritz Klee for Hutschreuther around 1917. It is elegantly appointed in white and gold and finished in a glossy glaze; and although pale, it has nice feather detail and a serene expression on its face that's sure to charm. Measures 5 6/8" tall, 5.5" in length from head to tail, and is 2.25" x 1.75" at its base. And even though this guy is over 90 years old, he's in excellent condition with nary a chip or crack, just a little wear to the gold on his beak. Marked "Lorenz Hutschenreuther A.G. Selb, Abfeilung fur Kunst" on the bottom. A super specimen coming to you from across the years & miles, you'll be delighted with it, we're sure!
