A stunning Cockatoo creation from those Mexican artisans of old, worked in sterling silver and hand painted in enamels meant to mimic turquoise. Although stylized, the pin does have detail, with interesting lines and a thicker than normal construction. Consequently it is heavy for its size, which is 1 7/8" tall and 1 1/8" wide (at the perch). A sliding "c" clasp on the back keeps this precious Parrot from getting lost and a mark of "925, Mexico, TP-77" proves his worth.
