Rare 1940's-50's Polly Stamps Advertising Sign

For you aficionados of advertising, old signs and all things Parrot, we bring you this vintage advertising sign of considerable size hawking (sorry, Polly) the merits of Polly stamps. The sign is made of metal and is painted in red & white on both sides, with metal grommets near each corner. The metal is substantial and sturdy (meaning it won't bend if you pick it up by the bottom corners) and its weight and size will likely surprise you (they don't make them like THIS anymore!) Measures 27.75" x 19.75". It shows its age via expected scratches, small spots of paint loss and areas of discoloration (see pics) and a bend in one corner that can be straightened if you wish. The sign's overall condition is good, however, with 98% of the paint intact, no rust, and the colors bright. Perfect for kitchens, dens, bird rooms, restaurants, game rooms or anywhere you'd like to get your bird on.........the wall. :-)
