Vintage Hand Painted Vanity Set

A delicate and delightful dresser set from the Depression Era featuring hand painted Parrots, Parakeets or Lovebirds (call 'em what you will) on a floral swag. The set is made entirely of glass and consists of four pieces; a 3 5/8" x 2.5" powder jar w/cover, a 2 1/8" x 4" perfume bottle w/ stopper, a 4 3/8" x 3 3/8" x 1 3/8" jewelry box and a 7.5" x 5 1/8" tray. All the pieces are done in white with orange detailing and are in good condition with the following exceptions - a chip on the left top edge of the jewelry box (see pic), a speck of paint loss on the perfume stopper and some roughness on the bottom, and some paint loss to the birds on the tray (see pic, caused by placing the other pieces on the tray, no doubt). Unmarked but with its nice weight and exacting painting, the set's quality is evident. A bevy o' Birdies for your boudoir, certain to beguile and beautify. You'll like!

It was suggested that this is an old Westmoreland set but without a mark or a reference in my book, I cannot confirm it.
