Victorian Silverplate Tiered Server w/ Cockatoo

A feast for the eyes with flowing Art Nouveau lines, this footed silverplate server from France features cabbage shaped bowls, a bronze vine shaped handle and a displaying Cockatoo officiating at the top. It is a rather large piece, measuring 11.25" to the top of the 'Too and 9.25" in diameter at the bottom bowl. The detail is quite nice as is its condition, although the silverplate has worn in areas revealing brass underneath, which actually lends rather than detracts. Unmarked, with unmistakable quality and elegance. A very rare piece, don't miss it!
