Budgie in a Bag

Say what?!? You read it right, we have for your Parakeet pleasure a birdie all the way from 1960's Hong Kong (British Hong Kong to be exact) still perched inside his original plastic bag. The Budgie is made of spun cotton and has real feathers on his tail and sides. He also sports plastic eyes and feet, with wires on his feet to help him perch particularly. This green & yellow wonder measures 6" from head to tail and is about 1.5" wide. The bird itself is in good condition but his tail feathers seem a little worse for wear (see pic) with a few little pieces floating around in the bag. The bag cleverly states that this fellow would be great in floral arrangements, centerpieces, Christmas trees, gift packaging or - gasp - hair ornamentation! (Can you imagine? Well, maybe at Parrot Festival....) Hand Made and handy, fun 'n feathered, love Budgies, love this!
