If you're looking for a colorful 'Too with lots of personality and presence (and just a touch of attitude) then read on! Coming to the Beak all the way from Germany is this fine porcelain, crested specimen, perched upon an octagonal base (kinda looks like a salt shaker to me) and posed as if looking to mom (or dad) for a lift. It is handpainted in vibrant, fanciful colors and has lots of nice feather detail. The bird has survived the past 80+ years in excellent condition and stands 7.5" tall to the top of its crest and 2 3/8" in diameter at the base. It is marked " Bavaria" on the bottom, along with a logo that identifies it as a product of the "New Porcelain Factory Tettau" between the years of 1923 and 1937.
