Art Deco Hutschenreuther Cockatoo Figurine

Made between 1925 and 1939 by the famed artist K. Tutter, this Cockatoo figurine from Hutschenreuther of Germany embodies the spirit of the bird along with delightful Deco design. It is made of fine porcelain and hand painted with gold detail, and has the most delicious pose with head down, feathers ruffed, tail spread and crest up. The 'Too measures 5" in height, 5.75" in length (crest to tail) and is 2 7/8" at the base. Marked "Hutschenreuther Selb Bavaria, Abteilung für Kunst" on the bottom along with "K. Tutter", which is stamped into the porcelain on the base. I am pleased to report that the figurine is in excellent condition and ready to continue its place in history with you!
