Coming to you from across the years and across the miles is this this bold & brash Toucan, created by Royal Doulton of England between the years of 1918 and 1936 and recently acquired in Germany. It's easy to see why he's so confidently posed for this bird is just stunning, with its vibrant hues of blue & green, shiny glaze and its exacting hand painting. It's also in the best of condition with nary a chip, crack or repair, just a small crazing spot near the logo (see pic) and very little paint wear if any. Measures 7.75" tall and is 2 7/8" x 2.5" at its base. Officially titled "Toucan on Perch-Green" in the 'Doulton Animals' guide, we just call it beautiful!

Item ID: ab5313
