Byrdes Crystal Cornucopia Vase w/ Box

A most unusual Byrdes horn vase from Hofbauer of Germany, in the shape of a footed cornucopia with a perched bird on the end. It is also decorated with etched birds on three sides and has sawtooth edges along the top rim. It stands just over 6" tall and is over 3.5" in diameter at the top. It is in great condition with no damage noted and is heavier than most pieces of its size. It will come to you in its original box along with a little booklet that pictures some of the other pieces the company made. The box is in fair condition with a hole on one side but, hey, it's the original box! The vase would be stunning filled with flowers or placed on a windowsill with the sun shining through it.
