1979 Vandor Taffy Dahl Cockatoo Pitcher

Here we have a pitcher of the crested variety (Sulphur, that is) created by the artist Taffy Dahl waaaaay back in the 70's. The pitcher is cleverly fashioned into the shape of a Cockatoo, with a handle on his back and a hole in his mouth for spouting (yep, sounds like a 'Too!) Made of ceramic and measuring 10 3/8" tall and 5" x 4.5" at the base, the pitcher is in good condition with no chips or cracks, but DOES have age crazing. (Hmm, a crazed 'Too? Sounds like someone I know!) Marked "1979 Taffy Dahl" on the bottom, along with "Vandor Imports, San Francisco, Made in Japan". Perfect not only for beverages but great for kitchen utensils and use as a centerpiece. Ever wish you could get a handle on a 'Too? Well, now here's your chance!
