A Dove-ly trinket box from Andrea by Sadek, made of porcelain and fashioned into the shape of a seated white Dove. The box has wonderful detail on the bird's feathers 'n face, and the top lifts off just below its breast to reveal a 4" x 2.5" x 1" well for holding "stuff". It is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks and was likely produced in the 1980's. The Dove's overall measurements are 5.25" from breast to tail, 3.5" from wing to wing and 3 5/8" tall. Marked on the bottom with its original "Andrea by Sadek, Made in Japan" gold foil label, along with the number 8078. A charming figure with a unexpected secret. I'm sure you'll be pleased.
