Bill Jaxson Thunder & Fury Hawk Print

A striking print of two Hawks, perched atop a snow covered outcrop and ever alert for predator or prey. They are surrounded by a double matt in blue and off-white, which is encased in a wood frame. The whole is covered with non-glare glass, keeping your attention on the birds (and not on your reflection in it!) The print is a nice size, with a framed measurement of 22.25" x 18.25" and is finished on the back with brown paper and an attached wire for hanging. The print and matting are in fine shape, with no stains, ripples or tears. I do see some scuffing of the frame along the inside edge (see pic) but it only adds to its rustic appeal. The print is titled "Thunder & Fury" and was done by the artist Bill Jaxson in a limited edition of 500. Voted one of America’s Top 25 Most Popular Artists in 1995 by gallery owners, he is primarily known for his western themed art, so this print is a departure for him. The artist's name appears on the bottom right and it is signed by him underneath that as well. A striking print, certain to appeal to the raptor lover in you!
