Parrot Cookie Jar from Germany

Talk about your Parrot heads! You can give your cookies (and candies) the heads-up with this unusual jar by Goebel of Germany, done in the shape of a Hookbill with a hat and a seeming smile on his face. (But then again, if I was full of cookies I'd be smiling, too!) The jar is made of ceramic and measures 8.75" tall and 7" wide. It's clean and in great shape with no chips, cracks or repairs, just a lit-o bit-o paint loss around the edge of the hat / lid (see pic). It is marked "Goebel, West Germany" on the bottom, which dates it between 1979 and 1990. Kinda fun, kinda funky. You'll love it!
