1973 Goebel Canary Figurine

If yellow is your color then you are going to LOVE this chirpy little Canary bird! Handpainted in a realistic matte glaze, he was made in the early 1970's by Goebel of Western Germany, so his quality is assured. This little singer stands just over 5" tall and is 1.75" in diameter at his base, and is in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. One neat thing about him is that his expression from one side is that of expectation.....expecting more seeds, perhaps? :-) He is marked with the Goebel "bee in V" logo on the bottom, as well as "3851014, 1973" and with his original plastic label that identifies him in three different languages.
