Pre WWII Lustreware Relish Dish w/ Macaw & Cockatoo

A dainty and darling handled dish or tray from days of yore, featuring the unlikely paring of a Gang-Gang Cockatoo and Blue & Gold Macaw in the center. The birds are surrounded by a band of orange lustre along the border and are flanked by floral sprigs. The tray is made of porcelain and measures 9.25" in length, 4.25" in width and is just over an inch high. It is in good condition save for a little wear to the lustre and a loss of gold along the top edge. "Germany" is marked on the bottom. So you don't relish, relish? No problem! This tray would make a wonderful decorative piece, or put it to work by the kitchen sink holding sponges, on the back of the commode holding soaps or on your dresser holding whatever.
