Noritake Condiment Jar w/ Perched Parrots

Here's a great little Noritake condiment jar, done in an eye-popping shade of bright blue! Perched on the front of the jar are two colorful parrots on a T-stand, who look as though they are deep in conversation. (Probably saying bad things about the cat!) This porcelain piece has elegantly sculpted handles which are trimmed in gold, as is the lid knob. The porcelain spoon is also decorated at the top with gold, and all of the pieces are in good condition, save for a small, shallow chip on the inside edge of the jar (see pic) and some wear to the gold. The bottom is marked with the Noritake "M" in a wreath in green. The jar is 3.25" tall and about 2.5" in diameter at the top. The unusual, vibrant colors make this one piece you don't want to miss, especially with such wonderful subject matter ..... Parrots!
