Mom & Baby Bird from Japan

If the sweet scene of a feathered mother & babe melts your heart, then take a look at this pair from Japan. Perched upon a stump and obviously expecting a handout from mom, this baby bird has mouth wide open and ready for input! The figurine is cold painted in a matte glaze and is rather lightweight. This type of figurine is often found with scratches and the like, but these lucky birds have survived the passing years relatively unscathed. I do see a tiny, tiny flake on mom's flight feather (see pic) and a little flaking along the bottom edge, but these are quite insignificant. The figurine measures 5.25" to the top of mom's head and is 5" long. Kinda cute, kinda funky...you'll like!
