1940's Maddux of Calif. Cockatoo w/ Flower

If pink is your color and 'Toos your passion, then chances are you'll be charmed by this one! With wings outstretched, tail spread, and crest erect, this Pink Princess has as the allure and appeal of her breathing cousins - with none of the noise & dust! She is perched atop a stump with a magnolia flower and leaves below, each hand placed and painted over 60 years ago! She stands just over 11.25" to the top of her crest and has a wing span of 10.5". She's in basically good condition but does have a chip on one flower petal and two tiny, tiny glaze flakes on one wing and a minute glaze rub on the tip of the other wing (see pics). There is also crazing present, but then again, I bet you're familiar with crazed 'Toos!The figurine is marked "Wm. Maddux, Calif." on the bottom although it's hard to see due to the glaze covering it. A most beautiful bird, one I'm sure you'll be captivated by. Prepare to fall in love the moment she's unwrapped!
