Fabulous Art Deco Pitcher w/ Cockatoos

A long and lovely porcelain pitcher from the Art Deco era, featuring a handpainted Cockatoo, surrounded by deco motifs and lilac blossoms. The detail on this piece is (like the title says) fabulous, the colors superb, and the gold highlighting on the motifs and handle inspired. It is decorated on both sides, each design similar save for the 'Too - on one side he's quite content and on the other excited (perhaps birdie got a glimpse of what's inside!) The pitcher measures an astonishing 12.5" and is approx. 4.25" in diameter at the bottom and 3" at the top. I am tickled to report that it is in excellent condition, with nary a chip or crack to mar your enjoyment of it, and almost no paint wear. It is signed by the artist "M. Ozzman" on one side but is not otherwise marked. Truly something special, wish I had room for it in my own collection. Would make a fine, fine centerpiece as well. You will LOVE it!
