Fabulous Noritake Vegetable Bowl w/ Handpainted Parrot

A visually appealing and colorful porcelain serving bowl from Noritake, with an unusual oblong shape sporting scalloped edges, molded handles, and cut-out ends. Inside the bowl you'll find a smiling handpainted Parrot, perched amid hibiscus blooms and leaves and surrounded by beautiful blue lustre. Nice! The dish is a good size and deep, too, measuring 2.75" in height at the ends, 9.75" in length and 8.25" in width; big enough for serving veggies, casseroles and more, with the Parrot's head seemingly popping up out of the goodies. (Wait! Sounds familiar!) It is in great condition with no chips or cracks, just a couple of small scratches in the lustre. The Noritake "M" in a wreath logo is marked on the bottom in green, a mark that they began using in 1918. A very special piece, one I'm sure you'll be proud to own!
