A rare and remarkable Victorian inkwell stand from Germany, sporting a bronze Parakeet perched on a T-stand in its center, with cut crystal inkwells flanking each side below. The tray is large enough to accommodate pens and various writing accessories, and keeps the heavy inkwells stationary via attached braces. But enough of the tray, what about the Budgie?!? A delightful and delicate ringholder from France, made in the late 1800's or early 1900's and fashioned into the shape of a Parrot upon a T-stand. The bird is action posed, with wings and tail spread, who seems to be eying the food & water dishes below. The holder is made of bronze and has four segmented bars to hang rings and the like.
