We dodged the raindrops on our recent buying trip to Missouri and Arkansas but what the rain taketh away, the rain giveth - more time to shop! And shop we did with some wonderful results and unusual finds, some of which were listed today.
By clicking on the "This Week's Arrivals" just above you'll see them, along with a gorgeous Rosenthal Parrot from Germany and the cloisonné Cockatoo we've been raving about. Trust us when we say the pics do NOT do it justice. Our favorite piece this week comes from Missouri, however, an incredible Duck bronze that is sure to make any bronze or Duck collector a superb gift.
And speaking of gifts it's not too early to think Christmas, do you realize we only have 7 weeks left?!? If you have any bird lovers on your list then make us your first stop and should you be unable to choose (so many birds, so little cash) we do offer gift certificates in any denomination with no expiration date.
If you are a lover of Art Deco then our next listing event is for you, we've just gotten in a few pieces from France and have more from Germany to list. We'll be back the week of the 16th with those pieces and then some, so be sure to come back then and browse our booty. (Hmmm, maybe that didn't sound quite right.....)

Did you see us in the December issue of Bird Talk magazine? We got prime placement in the Gift Buying Guide area although we thought the pics a little small. :-( No matter, you'll see us again (Beak Chic, anyway) in the January issue, featured in the "For You" section. Subscription copies should began arriving around the middle of the month.
