This is a vintage pincushion that was made from a piece of an antique Victorian wool paisley shawl on the top and soft gold velvet on the bottom. It measures about 3" x 7" and feels as if it is filled with sand...hefty weight. This is in very good vintage condition...a nice vanity or sewing accessory...great for displaying jewelry, hat pins or stick pins.
