Beautiful Vintage Art Deco Peacock Feather Beaded Purse

From out of an old estate collection, this is a stunning antique beaded purse that dates to around 1920-35. It is beaded BY HAND with a design that reminds me of peacock feathers, using small glass beads in colors of cobalt blue, turquoise, green, gold brown and black. It measures 5 1/2" wide at the frame and 9" long to the bottom of the 2 1/4" fringe...not including the 8" braided strap. This has a metal frame covered with celluloid faux tortoise shell, and its original dark green sateen lining. There is one pocket inside which contains a very old oval mirror. I'm not sure if the strap and mirror are original to the purse. Condition is otherwise excellent. The ball clasp shows some wear, but the frame is straight and the purse opens and closes securely. The colors are beautiful on this, and as you can see, it displays very well.
