From out of an estate collection, this is a wonderful vintage Art Deco French made steel beaded purse with geometric design done in muted colors of silver, gray, bronze and gold. The brass frame measures 4 3/4" and has ball clasp closure in good working order. The purse measures 4 3/4" wide and 8 1/2" long, not including the double chain, which adds about another 5 1/2". The chain has aged to a nice dark brass or bronze color. The inside is lined in cream colored taffeta, and there is a sewn-in label which reads "Made in France". The purse is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. The diamond shaped fringe on the bottom is in great condition, and I see no bead loss on the purse. The frame is straight, and the purse opens and snaps shut securely.
