AT AUCTION 1930's Vintage Birds in the Air Variation Quilt-BY HAND

From out of an estate, this is a 1930-40's vintage hand pieced quilt in a bird in the air pattern variation done in shades of rose, pink, cream and beige, including some calico prints. This light to medium quilt measures about 60" x 72" and is all hand quilted. This quilt is in very good vintage condition, showing wear around the edges, consistent with age. There are a few small brownish spots, which I tried to picture, and some evidence of light foxing from long storage. These will probably lift with a soak in your own favorite "magic potion". It is clean and has no "off" or smoky smells...very fresh and from a pet free home. This is a really nice OLD quilt in desirable colors.
