This is an OUTSTANDING vintage locket that is made to look like a pocket watch with a three dimensional hummingbird on the top. The case has an overall embossed paisley like design, and the little hummingbird is very detailed. When you push down on the top of the winding mechanism, the locket pops open to reveal a place to put two pictures of your loved ones. The locket measures 2 3/8", including the bale, and it comes on a nice 36" engraved link gold-tone metal chain that is marked "1928©" on a metal tag near the barrel clasp. I do not believe that this chain is original to the locket, which is unsigned but of OBVIOUS DESIGNER QUALITY. This is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. The locket has a wonderful old patina. This comes to you from a large estate collection of NICE vintage/designer costume jewelry.
