STUNNING SWAN Vintage Dress Clip w/Long Pearl Dangles

This STUNNING and UNUSUAL vintage dress clip has a graceful swan with beautifully detailed wings at the top. This is gold-washed over pierced silver-tone metal, and it has five gold-tone metal square link chain dangles with a faux pearl drop at the end of each one...reminiscent of a waterfall. I have been unable to find another like it! This measures 5 1/4" LONG to the bottom of the longest dangle and is unmarked, as were many dress clips of this era. I believe it dates to the 1930-40's. This is in excellent vintage condition with clip mechanism in good working order...nice aged patina. This came from a large estate collection of dress clips and fur clips. Vintage dress clips are becoming increasingly popular. They are such a versatile and affordable fashion accessory. Dating to the Art Deco era, they look fabulous on a blouse or dress and wonderful on a blazer or coat. Many use them to accent a purse, pocket, lapel, belt or hat...even boots! Use your imagination...you can clip them just about anywhere!
