AT AUCTION Vintage Carl-Art Sterling Silver FLOATING OPALS Pin/Brooch

From out of an estate collection, this is a VERY RARE vintage brooch that depicts nicely detailed leaves on a branch with a dangling "floating opals" pendant that has tiny chips of genuine opal floating in oil inside a clear glass drop. In the center there are SPARKING prong set chaton and emerald cut aurora borealis rhinestones. This pin measures about 1 5/8" wide and 1 1/2" long and has a safety clasp in good working order. It is signed "STERLING" and "CA" with an arrow going through it. This is the mark used by Carl-Art Inc., a company that was founded in 1937 and ceased operations in the 1980's. This little pin is in EXCELLENT vintage condition...a LOVELY little signed estate piece to add to your collection...VERY HARD TO FIND TOO!
