From out of a large estate collection of NICE vintage/designer costume jewelry, this is a vintage D&E (aka Juliana) leaf brooch that is highly domed. The design has open and closed back navette and chaton rhinestones prong set in gold-tone metal. The colors are GORGEOUS shades of emerald and olivine green with VIBRANT green aurora borealis rhinestones. This was hard to photograph and is MUCH PRETTIER than the pictures. It measures 2 5/8" long and at least 1/2" deep, and it has a safety clasp in good working order. The brooch is unsigned, but it was made by DeLizza & Elster. Note the construction, heavy plating, striking design and quality of workmanship, as well as the use of different colors for the stones. I understand that due to a controversial new Ruby Lane policy, I am not allowed to tell you that this has been verified by the owner of DeLizza & Elster as one of their pieces, so besides all the correct design and construction elements, I can only say that I have researched this line of jewelry thoroughly and know it well. I have the utmost confidence in this piece and all the DeLizza & Elster pieces I have listed in my shop and would not claim them to be D&E unless I felt sure.
