I got this necklace from an estate and was told that the woman made this necklace herself from vintage beads of tree resin. I love the colors which range from yellow to orange to brick red. She did a GREAT job alternating the larger 1" plain beads with the smaller 5/8" cylindrical striped beads. The necklace measures about 18 1/4" end to end and has gold-tone metal hook and eye closure. It is in EXCELLENT vintage condition. This looks TERRIFIC on! The beads have the look of Bakelite but, as resin, are much lighter in weight.
